At Melange, we're committed to ensuring you have a delightful experience with us. While all sales are final, we acknowledge that sometimes things don't go as planned. Below are the steps we take to address these situations:
Refunds
- Item Not in Good Condition: Should your items arrive in less than perfect condition (e.g., melted, broken, defective), contact us within 1 hour of receiving them. Include a clear picture or video illustrating the issue, and send it on +91 9266619426 our sales manager will resolve your query promptly
- Received the Wrong Items: In the unlikely event that you receive an incorrect order, notify us within 1 hour. Provide a clear picture of the incorrect items alongside your bill to our sales manager at +91 9266619426. The items should be unconsumed and in the condition, they were received to qualify for a replacement.
Refund Process
- Store Credit: Approved refunds or cancellations will result in store credit vouchers, valid for one year. These will be sent to the buyer's registered email. The store credit can be used for melangebyvasavi.com only.
Cancellations for online website orders only
- Advance Cancellations: Orders can be canceled up to 48 hours in advance, provided no preparations have been made for the order.
- No Cancellations: Orders due for delivery/pickup on the same day or those that have been processed (e.g., the cake has been prepared or delivery arranged) cannot be cancelled
- Cancelation Fee: We charge a 12% cancelation fee for any kind of cancelation for website orders
Cancellations for Catering and bulk orders
- Advance Cancellations: Orders can be canceled up to 1 week in advance, provided no preparations have been made for the order.
- No Cancellations: same day or if order has been processed (e.g.,procurement is done or food preparation is done) order cannot be cancelled
- Cancelation Fee: We charge a 50% cancelation fee for any kind of cancelation for catering orders
How to put in a cancellation request?
Should you wish to cancel or amend an order, contact our Sales Manager at +91 9266619426. Only after receiving a confirmation of cancellation from our sales manager will the order be treated as canceled. Kindly connect with us within our working hours (Monday to Saturday 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
Please Note that in any kind of unforeseen circumstances, Melange holds the right to cancel and refund the orders within 48 hours. We will notify you regarding the same in advance.
Exceptions
- Delivery Delays: No refunds will be issued for late deliveries caused by circumstances beyond our control.
- Out-of-Stock Items: In the unlikely event that an item you ordered is out of stock and we cannot fulfil it as promised, we will promptly notify you. You will have the option to receive a full refund either in the form of store credit or to your original payment method, based on your preference.
Resolving Your Concerns
After a thorough investigation of all relevant details and circumstances surrounding your complaint, Kindly allow us 24-72 hours to resolve your concerns and we will determine the appropriate course of action. This could range from a full, partial or no refund. Refunds will be provided in the form of store credit to be used on the website only or a replacement item, at our sole discretion.
